Every time he got the urge to get started on his business he would experience fear, anxiety and doubt and would drop the idea and console himself that wasn’t the right time as he was progressing well in his corporate career. This bothered him a lot and thus started his journey into the realm of the heart and the brain.

Follow Your heart Your brain is stupid

About The Book

Our lives are shaped by the decisions we make. The choices and decisions that we make today will determine what we will BE, HAVE or DO tomorrow. Decisions about what to believe, what to do, what to say, what to give. The conflict between the feeling heart and the rational brain influences the decisions we make. In his book “Follow Your Heart Your Brain Is Stupid”, Vasudevan describes what causes this conflict, what stops us from making those decisions or taking those actions even though we know that they could lead us to where we want to be. He shares techniques to overcome the fear and anxiety that paralyses us each time we have to take some important decisions in life. The essence of his research and personal experience is captured in the form of 8 powerful principles which if adopted and practiced consistently would lead one to a life of happiness, success and fulfilment.

Testimonials

At first, the title looked so odd and made me think - is this indeed true? Few of my friends had already read this book and were gungho about it. So decided to buy my own copy. What a decision that turned out to be. This book has a fabulous narrative with many many good quotes and short stories to back it up. A great compilation of many working success principles that everyone of us can imbibe and implement from day one. Glad i followed my heart on this one 🙂

Awesome book! One of the very best NRaj

I Must Have read a 1000+ books so far but Follow your heart...your brain is stupid" is different. It's a book I can keep going back to refer. When I started reading the book, very well thought and written. Each principle made perfect sense to me. Happiness is a choice which we can decide for ourselves. The conflict between the Brain and Heart will always remain and I have decided to let my Heart rule the major decisions in my personal and professional life! An awesome book and must read.

A great Book Jagadish Easwar

I have the unique privilege of knowing the author of this book for a long time. He was my classmate at BITS Pilani and a close friend. Vasu always lived his life with integrity and values and was someone I could always rely on. It is a pleasure to read his writing now - a talent that I did not know he possessed. This book, because of the sheer exemplary quality of content, can join the league of top books on subjects such as intuition, gut feel, leading from the heart and the law of attraction. The book will impart immense value to those who read it properly and then revisit it from time to time (to make it a part of themselves).

Very Well Written Book Shankar Devraj

Brilliant book. Vasu has unearthed some deep insights. Highly recommended.
